Analytics Leaders Summit to Discuss New AI-driven Business Analytics, Decision-making, Cybersecurity

Manila, Philippines – EnigmaCG’s Analytics Leaders’ Summit has achieved tremendous success and acknowledgment in the market since its introduction in May 2016, after being organized in 5 different locations: Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. Attracting over 1000+ Data Professionals who live and breathe analytics.

After a sell-out event last June 2018 in the Philippines, EnigmaCG is back with Analytics Leaders Summit, a two-day event happening on September 12 and 13, at The Mercure Manila Ortigas. This year’s theme is Artificial Intelligence, The Cloud & Beyond. 

Conference Chairperson, Mr. George Haylett leads the conference with topics ranging from Building Digital and Data Driven Operation Ecosystem through AI to Personalize your Business: Automation NLP and Deep Learning. At the end of the day, there will be a panel discussion about the cloud. 

The panel consists of Sqn. Ldr. Jiradett Kerdsri, PhD., who is the Deputy Director of Data Analytics Unit at the Bank of Thailand, Kitman Cheung, the Chief Technology Officer and Analytics at Asia Pacific IBM in Singapore, and Edmund Situmorang, who is the Chief Technology Officer at PT Teknologi Tujuh Asia in Indonesia. 

The second day of the conference will discuss the PLDT Enterprise Analytics Journey and culminate in Applying Analytics to Agriculture: Opportunities and Frontiers, which will be led by Sandy Roque, the assistant vice president and head of enterprise and career business analytics and market research at PLDT, George Haylett, Karthicck Jayabal, the technology advisor and solutions architect at Back Office Associates in Singapore, Dan Noel Natindim, the data enterprise officer at Globe Telecom, Ahmed Khamassi, the data science vice president at Equinor-UK, Mark Ross Smith, Malaysia’s airline data specialist, Melecio Jr Valerio, the head of data architecture and governance at FWD Life Insurance Philippines, and Michelle Abarca, the analytics manager of Del Monte Philippines. 

On the last day of the summit, another panel discussion will be held that will be led by the following: Mr. Pocholo Capule, the Head of Data and Analytics at QBE, Philippines, Mr. Ian Camacho, Manulife’s Data Scientist, Mr. Mark Ross Smith, the Airline Data Specialist in Malaysia, and Ms. Michelle Littlefield, the Program Lead, Digital Services and Analytics at City of Redwood City in the United States.  

With over 2.5 Quintillion bytes of data being produced daily through multiple channels such as social media, eCommerce transactions, sensors as well as mobile, there is no escaping it. Because of this, the Analytics Leadership Summit will be focusing on the cloud.

While this is a fantastic option for many, it does come with a different set of challenges such as privacy and control, downtime, vendor lock-out but more importantly cybersecurity. This is why EnigmaCG thought it would be important to touch upon some of these issues over the two days to ensure you avoid any pitfalls that others may have encountered.
