Cyber Security Asia aims to Build a Secure & Resilient Future-Ready Organization this November 2019

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – Each day, cyber threats become increasingly intricate and difficult to detect. The toll from attacks in Asia exceeded those in North America and the EU by about $20 billion each and accounted for more than a quarter of the $315 billion costs of attacks globally. 

 

Over the past year, we saw that with the rise of device connectivity came boundless opportunities for malicious hackers to attack device vulnerabilities. With the support of forward-thinking security strategies and technology solutions to match, the modern business can minimize potential risks and step into a digital future confidently. 

A two-day event that is happening on November 4 to 5, Cyber Security Asia 2019 will take place at the Rosewood Hotel in Phnom Penh. This year’s theme is “Building a Secure and Resilient Future-Ready Organization”.

The conference is inviting chief executive officers, chief operating officers, chief information security officers, chief information officers, chief risk officers, chief technology officers, cybersecurity professionals, cybersecurity professionals, digital transformation heads, heads of insights, analytics operation risk heads and managers, technology risk heads and managers, and cybersecurity experts all over Southeast Asia to attend the event. 

Some of the topics that will be discussed during the first day are about Cambodia’s cybersecurity landscape moving to the digital economy, which will be led by the ICT security director of the Ministry of Posts & Telecommunications of Cambodia, Phannarith Ou. The CEO of Cybersecurity Malaysia, Dato’ Ts Dr. Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab, will be discussing how you can build a successful cyber program. 

There will also be a panel discussion, that will be talking about Cybersecurity Strategies and Policies: An APAC Perspective. The panelists are:

During the second day of the event, the topics will range from The Next Generation of CISO, that will be led by Shamane Tan, Privasec executive advisor from Australia, to discussing Transition to AI & Machine Learning in Information Security, that will be tackled by Doron Sivan, the CEO of Cronus Cyber Technologies,  awarded TOP #12 Transforming Cyber Security Industry & ‘Most Innovative MSSP Solution’ from Israel,

The event will end with another panel discussion that will be moderated by My Security Media Australia’s CEO, Chris Cubbage. He will be discussing Robotics 2025 and Beyond – Crime Trends Coming.
