With the advent of the internet, it is now possible to bet legally on nearly anything. Lax regulatory rules have helped with the growth of online gambling. Online gambling attracts a large population of gamblers by providing a quick and easy platform for making profit, and many of these people use blockchain technology.
Blockchain technology, which has become a solution to a lot of problems in different industries, has also benefited this rapidly-growing industry of online betting. The technology has unlocked concepts such as micro-betting and automatic payouts via smart contracts, which is why blockchain technology is a novelty for the gambling sphere. This technology brings new rules and is evolving to enable auditing, monitoring, and record-keeping for every part of the supply chain.
Blockchain Gamble, a half-day event organized by BlockDevsAsia, promises to address this topic with talks and sessions on how blockchain predicts and shapes the future of online gambling. The event will be filled with discussions and activities to be conducted by several professionals in the cryptocurrency industry. The program will also include games, a raffle, a panel, and a period for networking. The event will be held at Acceler8, UB, 111 Paseo de Roxas, Makati City on the 27th of July 2019 from 1-5 PM.
